There Had to Be a Better Way.

Too many gyms are built around extremes, quick fixes, and comparison. Impersonal rooms where nobody watches your form and nobody learns your name. Jenee and Alyssa had both worked in that world, and they knew training could be done better.

So they built something different. A facility grounded in hands-on coaching and structured programming, where people are trained and supported as individuals rather than pushed through a one-size-fits-all workout. Serious about the work, and genuinely glad you're here.

We've evolved a lot. The early years were built on intensity for its own sake, that no-pain-no-gain mentality. Over time we learned that the most effective training is smart, progressive, and built around the lives people actually lead. We're still every bit as demanding. We're simply more thoughtful about how we coach each person who walks in.

"

What's most rewarding is the community we've built, people who rely on each other. It's not the trainer and it's not the business model. It's who's training next to you, who's pushing alongside you.

Everything Is Coached. Nothing Is Random.

Every goal and every schedule is different. We offer multiple ways to train, each one programmed and coached to meet you exactly where you are.

Group Training

Our core program. Small-group classes, professionally programmed and coached for every level. Strength, Step, Bootcamp, and Metcon. All training runs on 6-week cycles, so you repeat and progress the same movements week over week. That is how lasting strength is built. The structure lets you work at your own pace and load while a coach guides every session and corrects form in real time. Challenging, effective, and built to keep you coming back.

Athlete Performance

We develop strong, resilient, confident young athletes through proper movement, strength development, speed, and injury prevention, all built on a foundation that holds up under the demands of competition. The work goes beyond the physical. These athletes are managing school, travel, practices, and games, and we coach them through the mental side too. We talk openly about recovery and mental health, because the best ability is availability. Talent means nothing if an athlete isn't healthy enough to compete. We choose long-term development over short-term results, every single time.

Personal Training

One-on-one coaching, fully customized to your goals. Some members prefer individual focus over the group setting. Others want to build confidence and competence with a coach before stepping into class. Both work. More often than not, those who start with personal training transition into our group classes fully prepared.

Recovery

You train hard. You also sit at a desk, carry stress in your shoulders, and push through soreness you probably shouldn't ignore. Our infrared saunas help with deep muscle recovery and stress relief. Normatec compression boots flush inflammation and speed up recovery between sessions. Cupping therapy targets chronic tension and improves mobility. Recovery isn't a luxury. It's what keeps you training consistently without breaking down. Available to members and non-members.

Back to Basics Program

Our 6-week program, run throughout the year. Designed for anyone who needs accountability and wants to return to the foundations of a healthy, sustainable lifestyle. You get 24/7 access to your coach, group sessions for community accountability, a nutrition plan built around your preferences, and measurements at the start and finish so you can see your progress. The goal isn't a start and end point. It's building habits you can repeat long after the program ends.

Health Coaching

Some of the most important work happens outside the training floor. For members who want guidance on nutrition, habit change, and building a sustainable lifestyle, we offer one-on-one health coaching by request. Many pair it with group training or the Back to Basics program for a more complete approach.

New Program · Now Enrolling

Performance Series

A six-week performance program built on HYROX-style training. Running, strength, and conditioning, coached every session. Two sessions a week. Starts July 2. Open to members and non-members.

Trained Like an Athlete. Treated Like Family.

Many of our members started exactly where you might be right now. Tired, out of shape, unsure where to begin, or frustrated by programs that never stuck. Busy parents, professionals, competitive athletes, people returning after an injury or time away. What they share is a willingness to be better than their own average, and we coach every one of them to the same standard.

What changes over time isn't only physical. People find their place here, and that's what keeps them coming back. We see you and coach you as an individual, before any fitness goal.

  • Confidence That Carries

People learn to move well, and they start carrying themselves differently. Standing taller, shoulders back. That confidence extends well beyond the training floor.

  • Consistency That Sticks

They trust their bodies again. They show up. They start to lose that fear of failure and gain energy they didn't know they had.

  • Resilience That Builds

Mental, emotional, physical. It all compounds. There's a sense of pride that comes from doing the work, and it shows in everything.

  • Community That Lasts

Some members are here for their mental health. Some for performance and aesthetics. Some to start their day alongside people they've come to count on. Every one of them belongs here.

Your entire first week is free. No credit card. No commitment. Just show up and train with us.

Frequently Asked

Everything you might be wondering before your first visit.

No, and you don't need any experience either. Plenty of our members walked in having never trained before, or having been away from it for years. Every class is coached and scalable, so your coach adjusts each movement to where you are right now. You don't need to prepare for this. You just need to show up.
Classes run about 45 to 60 minutes in small groups, usually around 15 to 20 people. You'll move through a mix of strength and conditioning work with a coach guiding every movement. Everything is programmed with intention and scaled to your level. It's challenging, it's encouraging, and nobody is left to figure it out on their own.
There's a structured program behind everything. All of our training runs on 6-week cycles. Monday's workout follows the same structure for 6 weeks, Tuesday's follows its own, and so on. The exercises progress over those 6 weeks, whether that's more reps, more weight, or tighter time. You're building on something. Every 6 weeks the cycle resets with new movements so it stays fresh, but you're never just winging it. That's the difference between working out and training.
No catch. Come in, sign a waiver, and train with us for a full week. No credit card, no commitment, no sales pitch at the end. We just want you to see how we train and how it feels to be here.
That's what coaching is for. Every movement has a modification. Your coach adjusts things in real time so you're working at your level, not somebody else's. Nobody is watching you struggle. Everyone in here started somewhere.
For your first visit, just reach out by email, phone, or Instagram DM and we'll get you set up. After that, all classes are booked through the Push Press app. Search for "smoothfit" to find us.
No contracts, ever. Go month-to-month at $199, grab a class pack, or drop in whenever you like. The yearly unlimited rate of $159 per month is the best value, but it's never required, and monthly memberships can be cancelled anytime.
No pressure and no hard sell. We'll help you find the option that fits your schedule and goals. Drop-in is $25 per class, a 10-class pack is $175, unlimited is $199 per month or $159 per month billed yearly, and all-access with full recovery is $319 per month.
Athlete sessions are completely separate from adult classes, with dedicated coaches. We work with young athletes from the time they start competing in organized sports, which for most families means middle school through high school, though we also train college athletes. If your child is in competitive athletics and you want them building a strong foundation of strength, movement, and injury prevention, they're a good fit.
It's not sport-specific. We build the foundation that supports every sport: proper movement, strength, speed, and injury prevention. We don't chase quick wins or shortcuts. We develop strong bodies, focused minds, and confident individuals prepared for life beyond the field or the court. Long-term development over short-term results, every time.
We offer infrared saunas, Normatec compression boots, and cupping therapy. These are available as add-ons or included with the all-access membership. You don't have to be a training member to use them. If you just want a sauna session after a long week, that works too.

Where We're From. Why We Stay.

Jenee was born and raised right here in Victor, and Alyssa's roots in the area run just as deep. The relationships, the trust, the families who have grown up alongside this business, we don't take any of it lightly. People train with people they know and trust, and we work to earn that every single day.

Our mission has been the same from day one: enrich the lives of everybody we come in contact with. We coach with intention, we prioritize safety, and we treat every person with respect, from their very first visit.

After nearly 10 years, what we're proudest of was never about how much money we make. It's that we've built a place where people feel safe, supported, and part of something bigger than fitness. We care deeply about our members, our community, and helping people move, feel, and live better.

A family legacy. Before smoothFIT existed, Julie ran her own gym just down the road at Phoenix Mills Plaza. Jenee grew up in it. Four decades later, with Julie still coaching alongside her daughter, it has all come full circle. For this family, this was never just a business. It is where they come from.
